Two ways to make your art

Both work great — but one gives you the perfect fit, every time.

🖨️ Start with a free template

Download a template shaped exactly like your product, print it at home, and let them draw inside the lines. Because it's sized to the product, the artwork fits perfectly - no surprises, no cropping. It's the option we always recommend.

🧊 Use art you already have

Already got a masterpiece on the fridge? Perfect. Just snap a clear photo (tips below) and upload it. We'll make it look brilliant — the artwork will simply be placed to fit the product as best it can.

the full process

Six easy steps

You do the first four. We handle the rest.

  • 🎨 Create the artwork

Anything goes! Crayons, markers, paint, glitter, stickers - even stuck-on photos. The wilder and more "them," the better. For a perfect fit, draw inside one of our templates.

  • 📸 Snap a photo

Grab your phone, find good light, and take a clear, straight-on photo. This is the step that matters most - a great photo makes a great keepsake.

  • ⬆️ Upload it

Head to the product page and upload your photo. You'll see your artwork on the product before you buy, so there are no surprises.

  • 🛒 Place your order

Pick your product - or a few! - and check out. That's your part done.

  • We make it

We print your artwork beautifully onto safe, sturdy, dishwasher-friendly products, built to last for years.

  • 📦 We ship it

It arrives at your door, ready to use, gift, or keep forever. From your fridge to your family for good.

The most important step

How to take the perfect photo

Your keepsake is only ever as good as the photo you upload. Two minutes here makes all the difference.

✅ Do this

✅ Use natural daylight — right next to a window is perfect.

✅ Lay the artwork flat on a table or the floor.

✅ Hold your phone directly above, level with the paper.

✅ Fill the frame — get the whole artwork, edge to edge.

✅ Keep it steady and in focus, at your phone's best quality.

❌ Avoid this

❌ Dim rooms or warm, yellow indoor light.

❌ Your own shadow (or the phone's) falling across it.

❌ Flash — it causes glare and washes out colour.

❌ Shooting at an angle or from too far away.

❌ Cropping off any edges of the drawing.

The better the photo, the better your keepsake turns out.

Use whatever they love

There are no rules. If it makes them proud, it'll make a beautiful keepsake.

Best-result tips & FAQs

What paper should we draw on?

Plain white paper works best — it keeps the colours true. Try to avoid lined or coloured paper if you can, and press firmly so the colours are nice and bold.

Do bold outlines really matter?

They do! Strong, dark outlines and bright, solid colouring print far better than faint pencil. Encourage them to "colour it in all the way."

Can I upload a photo instead of a scan?

Absolutely. A clear phone photo in good light is all you need — no scanner required. A scan works too if you have one handy.

What file types and sizes work best?

JPG or PNG are perfect. The higher the resolution, the crisper the print — so use your phone's best quality and get nice and close so the artwork fills the frame.

Can I put the same artwork on more than one product?

Yes - and lots of families do. Upload it once and add it to a plate, a mug, a tote and more. One drawing, gifts for the whole family.

What if my child's artwork doesn't fit the product shape?

That's exactly why we recommend our free templates - they're shaped to the product, so it always fits. If you're uploading existing art, we'll place it to fit as best we can.
